Concentration of broadband terahertz radiation using a periodic array of conically tapered apertures

Abstract

We describe the optical concentration properties of periodic arrays of conically tapered metallic apertures. We also discuss possible future transmission enhancement that utilize cascaded structures by tilting the apertures towards the array center.
