On-chip ultra-broad frequency conversion via simultaneous second and third-order optical nonlinearity

Abstract

We demonstrate ultra-broad frequency conversion through simultaneous second and third-order nonlinearities. Using a high-Q resonator, we generate multiple frequency lines in both the near-IR and in the visible range using a single near-IR CW pump.
