Ultrafast fiber ring lasers with a pair of chirped fiber Bragg gratings

Abstract

The performance of mode-locked fiber ring lasers incorporating two opposite-dispersion chirped fiber Bragg gratings is presented in different dispersion regimes. Pulses of nanojoule energy and duration well below 100 fs are generated.
