Circular Antiguided Resonant Multicore Fiber Structure with Improved Intermodal Discrimination

Abstract

Novel fiber laser design strategy is proposed based on in-phase mode selection in a circular antiguided resonant structure. Parameters of 7-core array are found numerically providing the maximal gain overlap factor for the in-phase mode.
