Wavelength and Pulse Width Tunable 1 μm Yb-doped Programmable Fiber Laser

Abstract

We present a wavelength and pulse width agile programmable laser in the 1 μm region using Ytterbium-doped fiber amplifiers. Wavelengths and pulse widths are tuned independently from 1020 to 1080 nm and from 26 down to 4 ps after compression.
