Modeling of Long-Wavelength High Contrast Grating VCSELs and Comparison with Experiment

Abstract

A comprehensive theoretical model for the high contrast grating tunable VCSELs is presented. The tunability of the resonance and the L-I curves are investigated. Our theoretical results agree very well with the experimental data.
