Sub-50 fs Pulses from Frequency Comb Generated by Cascaded Four-wave Mixing in Highly-nonlinear Fiber

Abstract

Phase measurements of a laser source based on generation of frequency comb in highly-nonlinear fiber were performed via line-by-line pulse shaping. Design optimization and compression of second order distortion allowed generation of sub-50 fs pulses.
