Plasmonic Interferometer for Enhanced Optical Biosensing

Abstract

We report a plasmonic interferometric biosensor based on a simple slit-grooves nanostructure for enhanced optical biosensing with figures of merit reaching 71.5 and detection limit of 2×10−5 RIU in a simple collinear transmission optical setup.
