Abstract

We present the femtosecond dynamics in single metal nanoantennas, excited by few-cycle light pulses at central wavelengths of 1.2 - 1.5 µm (200 - 250 THz). Radiative damping, coherent nonlinear emission and 4-dimensional light confinement are observed.
