Electrically Controlled Silicon Nitride Ring Resonator for Quasi-phase Matched Second-harmonic Generation

Abstract

We propose and simulate an electro-optical ring resonator for second-harmonic generation that is controlled by a dc field. Results predict -24.3dB conversion efficiency without need for external compensation of nonlinearity-induced resonance shift.
