Abstract

Using laser-heated pedestal growth method to re-grow Cr:YAG single crystal fiber with CaO perimeter deposition under annealing treatment at 1500 oC. The Cr4+ concentration of Cr:YAG fiber amplifier was raised by a factor of 91.87%.
