Transmission Bragg-grating Grisms for Pulse Compression

Abstract

We design a grism compressor based on Bragg transmission gratings and high index prisms. Single-pass throughput of ~76% over 740-840nm with large negative third order dispersion matchable to bulk stretcher dispersion is demonstrated.
