Tomographic Imaging with Lateral Frequency Modulation Projections Using a Single-Element Detector

Abstract

A lateral tomographic imaging technique that forms object projections with a single photodetector is demonstrated. A spatially-varying modulation applied to the illumination beam encodes object projections in the photodiode signal spectrum.
