Dynamic Variation of Plasmon-Induced Transparency in Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

A novel planar metamaterial is proposed to enable the plasmon-induced transparency (PIT) in the terahertz regime. Dynamic variation of the PIT effect is observed when the two independently excitable resonance modes are manipulated.
