Buried-heterostructure phase-locked arrays of mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers

Abstract

Realization of buried-heterostructure phase-locked arrays quantum cascade lasers emitting at 8.5µm is presented. Narrowing of the farfield emission for the multi-elements array compared to single-element laser is shown.
