Room Temperature CW Operation of Metal-Semiconductor Plasmonic Nanolasers with Subwavelength Cavity

Abstract

We report the first room temperature, continuous wave operation of the electrical injection nanolasers with subwavelength cavity. The lasing mode is confined in an InP/InGaAs-SiN-Silver cavity of rectangular cross section operating at 1.55 μm.
