Subharmonic Synchronization of Picosecond Lasers for Stimulated Raman Scattering Microscopy

Abstract

A 38 MHz picosecond Yb fiber laser is successfully synchronized to a 76 MHz picosecond Ti:sapphire laser with electronic phase comparators and an intra cavity electro optic modulator for high contrast, label free imaging with stimulated Raman scattering.
