Tunable Coherent Raman Soliton Generation with a Tm-Fiber System

Abstract

We demonstrate wavelength tunable coherent Raman soliton generation in a Tm fiber amplifier seeded with a passively mode locked Tm fiber oscillator and subsequent octave spanning continuum generation in highly-nonlinear fibers.
