Laser Pulse Energy Control using a High Speed Digital Feedback Controller

Abstract

We present a novel electronic feedback scheme which allows laser pulse energy control and stabilization by using a custom high speed FPGA digital controller. This scheme was tested on a high-energy fiber-laser-pumped Ho:YLF ring laser.
