Abstract

We investigate Raman conversion in hollow-core photonic bandgap fibers pressurized with Sulfur hexafluoride (SFg) and Tetrafluoromethane (CF4) gases. We obtain conversion efficiency to the firat Stokes of 55.7% with SF6 and 45.4% with CF4.
