Spectro-Temporal Asymmetry in Optical Parametric Processes

Abstract

We have, for the first time, generated bi-photon quantum states of light with temporal waveforms showing stunning asymmetry and exotic coherence properties using cavity-enhanced four wave mixing in an optical mircoresonator with selectively split modes.
