Emission Statistics and Optical Transition Dipoles of Semiconductor Nanoplatelets

Abstract

We report on the emission statistics and optical transition dipoles of quasi-two-dimensional semiconductor nanoplatelets studied by single particle spectroscopy. We find that the emission properties of the nanoplatelets are strongly dependent on their lateral dimensions.
