MEMS-Based Fast Tunable Laser

Abstract

MEMS-based tunable diode lasers inherit the benefits of conventional ECDLs while improving the tuning speed. These lasers are here presented with an example and measurements are shown of the spectral characterization of these devices together with switching speed and stability experimental results.
