Abstract

Using two-dimensional (2D) hybrid organic-inorganic (C6H5C2H4NH3)2PbI4 perovskite thin film as an in-line saturable absorber, we experimentally demonstrate an all-fiber mode-locked laser in both C and L band. We successfully generated self-started ultrafast pulses at the anomalous dispersion regime with a spectral bandwidth of 7 nm and a pulse duration of 381 fs at the center wavelength of 1565.9 nm. Moreover, by adjusting the optical gain, we also achieve a transform-limited soliton pulses with the spectral bandwidth of 6 nm at the center wavelength of 1604 nm.
