Experiments on topological nodal chains

Abstract

We theoretically predicted and experimentally verified mirror-protected nodal chains in a metallic-mesh photonic crystal at microwave frequencies. The bulk states were detected through angle-resolved transmission and drumhead surface states were mapped out by field scans.
