Beamed Light Emission near a Gradient Metasurfaces

Abstract

We investigate the ability of gradient metasurfaces to induce the selective emission of light with prescribed far-field properties from nearby sources. With this approach, we demonstrate off-axis unidirectional beaming of quantum-dot luminescence.
