Realizing Ultra-Low Reflection and Reduced Dispersion of Slow Light

Abstract

We investigate hyperbolic, multilayered thin films which demonstrate epsilon-near-zero behavior and contain stopped light energy bands. Together these two phenomena are able to radiatively excite slow light with reduced group velocity dispersion and perfect antireflection.
