Utilizing Optical Transition Edge Sensors and Superconducting Nanowire Single Photon Detectors in Quantum Optics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present the current state-of-the art of single-photon detection in quantum optics using high-efficiency superconducting single photon detectors, the implementation of high-efficiency sources and the measurement of large photon number squeezing in waveguides.
