Spectral compression of single photons coherent pulse

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate that the spectrum of single photons coherent pulse is compressed by a factor of 58 in a periodically poled lithium niobate waveguide chip. The frequency and bandwidth of single photons are simultaneously converted.
