Exciton Spectroscopy in Monolayer Transition Metal Dichalcogenides and Van der Waals Heterostructures

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Excitons dominate the strong light-matter interaction in transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers and present exciting opportunities for applications and new physics. Here we investigate carrier dynamics and valley properties in optical spectroscopy on high-quality samples.
