Harmonic Generation in Solids from a Fiber Laser

Abstract

We generate up to the seventh harmonic in silicon and zinc oxide from a femtosecond Tm fiber laser at 93 MHz, rather than a multi-stage Ti:sapphire system as in earlier experiments.
