Investigation on Phase-Sensitive Fiber Nonlinearity Cancellation in Conjugated-Paired Radio-on-Fiber System

Abstract

We clarify that fiber nonlinearity cancellation in the conjugated-paired radio-on-fiber system is a phase sensitive process. The best nonlinearity tolerance is achieved if the dual sidebands are constructively superposed during photonic down conversion.
