Comb-based Active Laser Ranging with Frequency Transfer

Abstract

The performance of active laser ranging is enhanced by using the frequency comb. Distance measurement is conducted along with frequency transfer between two ends, with 100 nm resolution and 2×10−16 Allan deviation for 1 s.
