Nonlinear Optical Responses of Protected Atomically Thin Black Phosphorus

Abstract

We investigate nonlinear optical responses of black phosphorus in ambient conditions protected by exfoliating thin hexagonal-boron nitride on top. We observe sub-picosecond and polarization sensitive responses for few-layer black phosphorous.
