Abstract

Ultrafast non-equilibrium quenching of superconductivity is shown to display a distinct two-step profile with strong excitation fluence and doping dependence in Ba(Fe1-xCox)2As2 which underpins, for the best first time, a new bosonic scattering channel from spin density wave fluctuations.
