Abstract

Sub-diffraction mid-infrared resonators were fabricated in a n+-InGaAs/AlInAs hyperbolic metamaterial. Coupling to localized modes is observed in angle-dependent reflection measurement and agrees well with finite element simulations using an anisotropic permittivity.
