Wideband nonlinear frequency conversion with OAM fiber

Abstract

We propose >99% efficient wideband frequency conversion between visible and telecommunication bands for quantum networks and single-photon detection, enabled by the enhanced phase matching capabilities offered by intermodal Bragg scattering in OAM fibers.
