Observation of Flat-Band Image Transmission in Optically Induced Lieb Photonic Lattices

Abstract

We demonstrate distortion-free flat-band image transmission in Lieb photonic lattices. Such lattices are established by a simple yet effective optical induction technique using two incoherently overlapping light patterns rather than the femtosecond laser-writing technique.
