Efficient thermal-light and light-thermal conversion by a selective emitter/absorber

Abstract

We use a diluted refractory metal as a selective emitter/absorber to enhance the efficiencies of thermal-light and light-thermal conversions. The absorptivity (emissivity) was measured at high temperatures up to 750°C.
