Abstract
I describe recent progress in nanoscale magnetic imaging using Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) quantum defects in diamond, which provide an unparalleled combination of magnetic field sensitivity and spatial resolution in a room-temperature solid, with wide-ranging applications.
