Complete conversion of one to two photons in dispersion-engineered nonlinear waveguides

Abstract

We predict that complete deterministic conversion of one to two photons can be achieved at a finite propagation distance in specially engineered nonlinear waveguides, by designing quantum frequency mixing across a broad range of frequencies.
