Monitoring the frequency detune of harmonically mode-locked Fourier domain mode locked fiber laser using the supermode noise peaks

Abstract

The intensity of supermode noise peaks of a harmonically mode-locked Fourier domain mode-locked fiber laser will drop significantly with the increase of frequency detune, which can be used to monitor the laser output quality.
