Abstract

We demonstrated GHz-gated InGaAs/InP single-photon detection with ultrashort pulses using harmonic spectral differencing, attaining avalanche signals by subtracting spike noise from mimic signals composed of sinusoidal waves of multi-frequencies and reducing the error counts robustly.
