Impact by fiber dispersion, nonlinearity, and saturable absorption in short-cavity mode-locked fiber lasers

Abstract

We numerically investigate the temporal and spectral change of optical pulses in short cavity mode-locked fiber lasers. We found that the shorter cavity length has less impact by fiber dispersion and nonlinearity.
