Dispersion-tuned wavelength-swept fiber laser using a reflective SOA and a grating pair for OCT application

Abstract

We have demonstrated a fast and widely wavelength-swept fiber laser based on dispersion tuning method for swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) system. We successfully obtained OCT images at the sweep rate of up to 25kHz.
