2μm MOPA Laser Based on Cryogenically Cooled Tm:Y2O3 Transparent Ceramic

Abstract

We demonstrated a MOPA laser based on cryogenically cooled TmY2O3 transparent ceramics emitting around 1932 nm. A maximum output energy of 2.94 mJ at 10 Hz with a pulse width of 32 ns was achieved.
