Abstract

In this work we study the coupling between a graphene monolayer and single quantum emitters. More specifically, we consider organic DiBenzoTerrylene (DBT) molecules embedded in thin Anthracene crystals. Our experimental setup is made of a home-built scanning confocal optical microscope, a spectrometer and two APDs in a Hanbury-Brown-Twiss configuration; we are therefore able to perform a thorough characterization of the optical properties of this single photon source such as fluorescence saturation, lifetime and antibunching measurements by means of Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC).
