Abstract
Attosecond pulses provide a deeper insight into electron dynamics happening on their natural time scale [1]. However with their low average photon flux attosecond time-resolved measurements are typically performed in combination with a moderately intense few-femtosecond infrared (IR) pulse in a pump-probe scheme. Even though the attosecond resolution is preserved, the IR field may modify the states of the unperturbed system.
