Abstract

Presently, the development of easily processable and cost-effective laser materials fulfilling the conditions of being efficient, photostable and broadly tunable over the visible spectral range, is an area of active research driven by the wide range of possible practical applications [1-3]. Nevertheless, despite this extensive activity up to now none of the obtained materials happens to meet at the same time all the above requirements.
