Abstract
It is well-known that Raman fiber laser (RFL) radiation is quasi-CW and partially coherent having broad generation spectrum (typically broader than FBGs spectral profiles) and strong intensity fluctuations resulting in relatively high RIN. Broad spectrum and intense intensity fluctuations are practical drawbacks for many applications.
